With all but one of the eight teams invited to ESL One Birmingham revealed, the focus of the fans will turn to see which four teams will earn their spot alongside the direct invites; three will have to make their way through the China, SEA and NA qualifiers.
This year an invite will be also be given to the winner of the GG Bet Birmingham Invitational, an online tournament between eight teams from Europe and CIS.
On April 7th any team from said regions can participate in the open qualifiers, with the winner joining the likes of Alliance, Na’Vi, Gambit Esports, Team Empire, The Pango, Old but Gold and The Final Tribe in the main event.
Then, from April 8th to 13th, these eight teams will battle it out for the invite to ESL One Birmingham. The winner will face up against the likes of EG, Virtus.Pro and many other top tier Dota 2 teams from May 28th to June 2nd.
