The first invites are in: SK Gaming and G2 Esports to attend ESL One New York
The ESL Pro League Season 3 finalists are the first teams confirmed to compete at ESL One New York.

We are thrilled to announce that the first teams invited to East Coast's biggest CS:GO event ever are no other than G2 Esports and SK Gaming (former Luminosity Gaming). Both teams were the grand finalists of the ESL Pro League Season 3 finals in London, with SK Gaming taking home the trophy.

G2 Esports have impressed the CS:GO world very recently with their performance at the ECS finals where they defeated Fnatic in the semifinal and Luminosity (now SK) in the final - both with a 2-0 result. The teams has also secured a slot at the upcoming major, ESL One Cologne 2016, through the offline qualifier. We cannot wait to see what they will show us in the Big Apple.

The Brazilian players of Luminosity Gaming have changed organizations will play under the SK Gaming banner. The squad is currently one of the world's very best teams, having won the last major, as well as DreamHack Austin and season 3 of the ESL Pro League. They are one of the top favorites to claim the trophy at ESL One Cologne 2016, which would make them the second team in history, after Fnatic, to become back to back major champions.

We cannot wait to see both teams take the stage at Barclay's Center and show the New York crowd world class CS:GO. Be sure not to miss New York's biggest ever CS:GO event - get your ticket here! And make haste to catch the early bird prices as regular sale begins July 1st at 12AM EDT.
