And then there were four! Team Liquid are entering the fray at ESL One Birmingham powered by Intel. They join Virtus.pro, Newbee and Evil Geniuses as one third of the attending team is now confirmed.
Team Liquid are currently in a neck and neck battle with Team Secret for the second spot in the DPC rankings. For now they hold said placement, but their lead is minimal, with a mere 24 points separating the teams. But a lot can change prior to ESL One Birmingham, with a multitude of DPC tournament being played before the teams travel to the UK.
So far the TI7 champions have been unsuccessful at secure themselves an ESL One trophy, but they’ve come close in this seasons events. Will ESL One Birmingham finally be their chance to shine on the ESL One stage?
