Oceania enters the Battlefield
ESL Oceania and DICE are proud to announce the Battlefield 4™ ESL One Oceanic qualifiers. This will see regional teams from Australia and New Zealand compete for a spot at the ESL One Season 3 finals in Cologne, Germany in August 2014, to win their share of 30,000 Euro.

Regionally, the teams entering will compete in a multi-stage tournament, where the top four finishing teams will win a share of a $6,000 AUD local prize pool. The first place overall team winners will then fly to represent the Oceanic region at the ESL One Season 3 finals in Germany.

The Oceanic Season will open up with a qualifying stage where teams will battle it out for a spot in the top 12, making up a group stage via four qualifying cups. The top placing three teams from each cup will meet in a group stage event.

The group stage will consist of two groups of six teams, who will play over a five week period, with the top four teams from each group progressing to the playoffs. The eight teams that progress to the playoffs will be automatically invited to the next season’s group stage.
